5. A Journey Beyond Sport - Driving Change on Food Waste and Sustainability matters in Switzerland
Actively engaged in NGOs to support local communities and enhance sustainability matters
Broadening my horizons
While international sport covers the majority of my expertise, I also take great pleasure to support local communities activities by actively engaging in projects focused on social impact and sustainability. By using my skills in communication, campaigns, advocacy, and commercial strategy.
One-third of global food is wasted, contributing to significant CO₂ emissions, while 783 million people face hunger. The Lost Food Project (TLFP), aims to change this by rescuing surplus food and delivering it to charities supporting vulnerable communities. In Switzerland, where one in twelve people live below the poverty line, TLFP collects high-quality surplus food six days a week, reducing waste and environmental impact. Additionally, TLFP runs educational programs in schools and corporate to raise awareness, inspire action and drive fundraising efforts.
TLFP mission is simple: We Rescue Food!
My role: Leading the communication program and supporting on stakeholder engagement by building strategy, creating content, and developing materials across advocacy and partnership. Ongoing project.
By supporting TEDxLausanne, I contribute to create synergies between innovators, forward-thinkers, and agents of change in Lausanne and everywhere in the world, inspiring positive actions to change our lives for the better.
During TEDxLausanne Countdown 2025, a catalyst for change, brought together changemakers, scientists, and citizens to rethink and act on the climate crisis.
For 2026 we are currently working a new exciting event to bring to the community.
My Role: Supporting the communication efforts to implement the plans for event awareness and stakeholders experience. On-going project.
Not to forget: From retail industry at the early stage of my career to completing my MBA where I worked on projects across various industries before landing a job in Executive Education School, my expertise spams across industries.
